		<description>I thought the impetus for the BYE week was so they have a way to schedule things when there are an odd number of teams in the NFL.  Not necessary at the present, but it&#039;s been a nice bonus.  I think if the impetus really had anything to do with a healing cycle, the first scheduled BYE weeks would be later in the season than week 3.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Of course, having your BYE week moved from week 10 to week 2 is indeed really annoying for all the reasons you mentioned, and MLB pulled a royal f-up over the Astros even worse just becacuse some rich guy did not want to give up the gate receipts for three games down there.</description>
